Dalton Knecht, recently waived by the Los Angeles Lakers, has already found a new team in the NBA.
As ESPN confirmed, Knecht will sign a new two-way contract with the reigning champions.
Formed at Tennessee and selected 17th overall in the 2024 Draft, the shooter will try his luck under Mike Brown and, hopefully, carve out a place in the rotation.
Last season with the Lakers he played 54 official games, averaging 4.2 points on 34% from three.

As a consequence of his recent signing, Kevin McCullar Jr. will be waived, having held another two-way contract alongside rookie Tyler Nickel (46th overall pick in the 2026 Draft).
McCullar Jr. has played a total of 25 official games in the Knicks shirt, averaging 2.2 points in 7.4 minutes per game.
