The New York Knicks have confirmed the release of guard Bruce Brown.
The final roster spot will go to centre James Wiseman, as there was little interest in Pâcome Dadiet.

It is worth recalling that the Knicks had been negotiating the departure of the Frenchman; however, they did not want to include any draft pick to get rid of his contract.
The plan had been to sign both players: James Wiseman and Bruce Brown, although in the end it did not work out.
Wiseman will get another chance in the NBA under Mike Brown, serving as the third available centre behind Karl-Anthony Towns and Andre Drummond.
In the preseason he has played four games, averaging 8 points and 4.2 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per game.
