Steve Alford, who has recently been named as the new coach of UCLA, has stated that since his arrival at the University he has had contact with everyone except the player Shabazz Muhammad. The new head coach has hinted that the player will declare himself eligible for the upcoming 2013 Draft, reports ESPN Los Angeles.
"I haven't spoken to him," Alford said of Muhammad. I've seen everyone and talked to everyone. I have already made some calls, but I have not been able to locate him," explained the coach.
«I guess it's pretty clear. “All the projections are to have him in the next draft, so I guess he will go,” he said about Muhammad's departure to the next rookie draft.
