Accompanying the presentation of the Kobe 9, Nike announced the launch of the Kobe Prelude Pack, a collection of the eight sneaker models that Nike has designed for Kobe Bryant in previous years.
El Kobe Prelude Pack includes the eight models of Kobe Bryant's shoes that have been designed for the competition under new inspiration in the form of artistic paintings.
The pack will include Kobe Bryant's first sneaker, the Kobe 1, which will commemorate the great individual moment of the NBA star's career. Lakers, the 81 points scored against the Toronto Raptors in 2006. The specific inspiration for the Kobe 1 comes from surrealism and the snake black mamba, including an 81 stamp on the shoe's insole.
Each pair of the eight sneakers that make up the Kobe Prelude Pack will release on a very limited weekly basis starting with the Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Prelude on Saturday, December 7 at Nike.com (North America, China and Western Europe) and at select retailers in North America and China.
