Knicks vs Sixers: best bet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Sixers enter the game as favourites. They are among the early leaders in the Eastern Conference with a 4-1 record and have shown better form than the Knicks, who are still trying to find their rhythm after last season’s championship success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although New York arrive in Philadelphia following victories over Detroit and Chicago, those results are not necessarily a reliable measure of their form. The Pistons were missing key players, while the Bulls have struggled for consistency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Knicks’ hopes once again rest largely on Jalen Brunson, who rediscovered his shooting touch against Chicago, making six of his ten attempts from three-point range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As previously reported, point guard Jos\u00e9 Alvarado will miss the game<\/a> because of a sprained left ankle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alvarado has been sidelined since the game against Boston, missing New York’s last four matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His absence has created more opportunities for Tyler Kolek, who has made excellent use of his playing time, recording 21 assists without committing a turnover in just 44 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n

Player to watch: Jalen Brunson<\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Brunson spoke about the need to correct the “little things” following New York’s hard-fought victory over Chicago, a game in which the Knicks had to battle until the final moments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was another outstanding performance from the point guard, who scored 38 points, including 14 in the fourth quarter, to make the difference when his team needed him most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was not alone, however. With Mikal Bridges struggling, the Knicks received valuable contributions from their bench, particularly Jordan Clarkson, who scored 18 points, including 12 in the closing stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New York came back from 19 points down in the second half, with Brunson’s 38 points<\/a> proving decisive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
