Good news for the Charlotte Hornets. Despite suffering a heavy 124-91 defeat to the Detroit Pistons, their fourth loss in a row, they now know that one of their best players, Kon Knueppel, is about to return to the court.

That’s right. After getting Coby White back, who made his season debut in that game, head coach Charles Lee has now stressed that the second-year guard is very close to doing the same after getting injured at the end of September.

Although the coach did not want to give an exact date for Knueppel’s return, the player is already taking part in 5-on-5 drills, and the team has started to include contact work in its routine. That’s right, he could be back at any moment.

Kon Knueppel breaks the record

For the team, who are 3-5, it should provide a boost, as Knueppel led the NBA in three-pointers last season and finished averaging 18.5 points and 5.3 rebounds. On his return, he is expected to take Sion James’s place in the starting five.
